Technical Support /Complaints Specialist - Scenic Switzerland - High Tech products - German and English essential

Our client is a globally active medical devices manufacturer - in a leading market position, growing at unprecedented rate, and with continued demand during the Covidien crisis. Committed to ensuring that the Quality department grows in parallel, they are seeking a Technical Support specialist to support and coordinate the Complaints handling process. This is urgent, and will be filled independent of any Covidien issues.

The products are classified as Medical Devices and are software driven electromechanical in nature, thus a Technical apprenticeship (electronics / multimedia electronics) or completed studies in electrical engineering / IT technician HF / FH will ensure the necessary understanding of the products and aid in troubleshooting support and resolution of the complaints.

Complaints are global thus a person able to communicate in English (international language) while working locally in German is essential. Enjoyment of troubleshooting together with a interest/passion for good Customer service will also aid in working with stakeholders and coordinating mullti-departmental SME support to satisfactorily resolve and close off the complaint. The role will also support international distributors in technical matters, and provide training where needed

This role would typically suit a graduate with some industry experience preferably troubleshooting electronics type devices, else a experienced Field Service engineer possibly looking for a more office based and less field based role.
