Scientist with B2B sales experience wanted for an industry leading biotech company, wanted for a Strategic Account Manager role!

My client is a fast growing Biotech Company. with a stable background of more than 50 years in the industry. They are currently seeing rapid growth for their business in non-profit segment, and as such are looking to expand with an Account Manager for the for-profit organisations in the France and South-Europe countries.

To look after one of their key segments in the European market, they are looking for a young professional with 2-3 years of experience selling B2B services in the biotech sector. You will join an experienced sales team, on developing this important market. The company is a trusted partner in providing models for pre-clinical testing of new drug molecules, before moving further into clinical stages.

In this role you will assume the account management responsibility of companies in the French and southern-Europe market, including well-established companies as well as start-ups.

About you:
- BSc or MSc in a life science field.
- 2-3 years of experience in B2B sales ideally in the life science field
- Good understanding of the Drug Development process
- The drive to be with an expanding organisation
- Fluency in French and English - other South Eruopean language a benefit.

Responsibilities:
- Be the point of contact for clients across your territory
- Together with a Subject Matter Expert plan and coordinate client visits and presentations
- Further develop the sales channels to market
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Plan and execute sales strategies in the market

The company is based in Germany, and you will be working 100% remote, with travel to clients around the country expected up to 50% of the time (COVID pending).
