A highly innovative Brand Consultancy with patented techniques is currently looking for a Research Director with a specialism in Ophthalmology. This company has a great reputation both internationally and within the UK for high quality research and consultancy, particularly around the branding and marketing processes. Their qualitative expertise is very highly regarded, and although they work across both qual and quant, qualitative work accounts for around 75-80% of projects.
The RD position is for somebody who is comfortable operating at a Director level, who is perhaps looking for the opportunity to help shape and direct the strategy of an organisation and take ownership of the new division. You will be regarded as the "go to person" and in-house specialist/consultant on all Ophthalmology based projects. This role will be based within the company''s new, spacious offices based in West London.
This post involves building on the existing Ophthalmology offering and handling projects end to end within a team environment. You will be heavily involved with liaising with clients, offering your expertise both internally and externally, and will also oversee projects ensuring high quality delivery. We''re looking for somebody who is ambitious, strategic, and seeking an opportunity to play a major part in the development of a small to medium sized business. You will have strong communication skills, and a track record of account management within market research. An excellent understanding of pharmaceutical market research methodologies is essential, as is a strong background within the Ophthalmology therapy area.
