Principal Scientist- CNS In-vitro Pharmacology

An innovative, and exciting organisation, are seeking a Principal Scientist level candidate with a strong background within in-vitro Pharmacology, particularly in the field of CNS and Neurodegeneration. Responsible for managing external Pharmacology studies, you will take programmes from early research up to candidate selection.

This company are within preclinical development; however have strong funding, an excellent management team and exciting pipeline- ensuring that this is a great time to be part of the growing team. In addition, joining a smaller drug development organisation ensures you have a more broad role, and the chance to be involved in quicker decision making than found at larger Pharma- however this means you should be more flexible in your approach.

Based in Cambridgeshire, local candidates and those relocating to the area would be considered. This is an innovative hub for Biotech and Pharma, so you will be part of a culture that will really help grow your career.

You should have experience working on in-vitro Pharmacology studies (additionally some in-vivo would be good), Cell Biology, Genetics and within CNS or Neurodegeneration. You should also have managed external partners and be at a leave you can project manage and lead programmes through development within candidate selection (and maybe further within preclinical development). Academically, you should have a Ph.D.
