We want to engage with talented
Principal Medical Writers who have a desire to push the boundaries of medical communications. If you are looking for a new challenge, we would love to tell you about the great things that are happening at HCG. With UK offices in
London and Manchester, we offer a great deal of flexibility. Work life balance and wellbeing is very important to us and we operate in an agile working environment, with home working and flexible hours.
Having long standing trusted strategic partnerships with most of the leading pharmaceutical companies, we work in therapy areas such as Vaccines (including CV19), Oncology, Immunology, Rheumatology, Haematology, Dermatology, Rare Diseases, Ophthalmology, Diabetes and Cardiovascular – to name a few! We offer opportunities to work on blockbuster and niche products, on publications accounts and innovative educational programmes. Our agencies craft evidence into stories that shape decisions and drive medicine. With the conviction of expertise and the confidence of authority, we challenge established wisdom to inform and engage different audiences.
With a genuine focus on quality and a real investment in training, we have a great personal development program - and with large global accounts, we can accommodate a wide-range of disciplines and job functions. The work we do is rewarding and we actually see how it positively affects people, in real time, with our ‘Work with a Purpose‘ Patient Webinars. This is where we get to meet real patients, who tell us their story and how medical communications has helped them along the way.
Principal Medical Writers are responsible for the production of high-quality medical content, always meeting the client’s communication objectives and ensuring work is delivered both on time and to budget. In addition to this, you will confidently incorporate strategic direction on assigned accounts and be the go-to contact for in-depth knowledge of select therapy areas. You would be responsible for ensuring each piece of work is written to a consistently high standard, and that internal processes are being adhered to. Generously sharing your time and knowledge throughout the team, you will give constructive feedback to help develop medical writing.
