Background:

We are currently looking for a Medical Writer who has experience working within a medical communications agency and is looking for an opportunity to work in an environment which truly values creativity and having a collaborative ‘best team approach’.

The ideal person will:
  • Manage projects to a high standard of service, on time, on strategy and on budget
  • Have the ability to communicate and explain complex ideas concisely and can demonstrate proficient writing for a broad range of documents and materials
  • Have proven experience of delivering consistently high quality work
  • Have experience in delivering publications plans, including manuscripts
  • Have experience in diabetes, and/or haemophilia
  • Review the team’s work to ensure it meets AXON’s high standards and client expectations
  • Have the ability to motivate their team and peers to consistently improve quality
  • Constructively challenge the status quo by recommending and trying new ideas to enhance our client service
  • Adapt efficiently to changing circumstances and will work with the client to understand the implications of changes to mandate and scope of work
  • Manage ambiguity and proactively identify and assist in the timely resolution of any technical or client service issues
  • Be actively involved in new business, through identifying opportunities for organic growth, research, brainstorming, proposal writing, presenting and developing contacts
  • Enjoy sharing their knowledge and expertise with others, to continue adding to our culture of learning
  • Be highly proficient in PowerPoint and Word. Experience working with Datavision would also be an advantage
  • Possess a strong sense of personal commitment to others and demonstrate our Company values of; Quality, Innovation, Commitment, Respect, Collaboration, Integrity and Responsibility
