We offer highly specialist services to global pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients, including medical communications, healthcare learning,clinical and commercial consultancy, market access, rare diseases, genomic medicine, digital engagement and advocacy.


The opportunity

We have developed an excellent reputation among the clients we serve, which has led to the successful growth of our business through reputation, relationships and referrals. To support our goals of sustainable growth with an expanded and diversified client base, we are creating a new, exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to join our business. The successful candidate will work closely with our business development and leadership teams to develop and implement AMICULUM’s external communications strategy and plan.

This role can be based from anyof our UK offices, with home-working flexibility and some travel to other AMICULUM locations required.  


Key responsibilities will include: 

·        Raising awareness of AMICULUM and supporting our growth through valuable external communications that demonstrate what makes us different

·        Developing AMICULUM’s external communication strategy and plan, in collaboration with the business development team and other colleagues. Key elements may include (but are not limited to) social media,conference activities and insight pieces on key topics

·        Creating content for our external/marketing communications and executing campaigns that drive demand and create leads

·        Deploying strategies to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and use these insights to improve and optimize future activities

·        Working in partnership with the business development team to identify and implement strategies that support the integration of marketing to best meet our business objectives


About you

You will be an experienced marketing professional with a proven track record in professional services marketing and external communications. Leading from experience, you will draw on your knowledge from previous roles to develop strategies, tactics and content that meet our objectives. Your recommendations will always be thorough and evidence based, and you will have a passion for identifying creative, differentiating approaches that provide value to our target audiences, as well as to AMICULUM. Prior experience in the healthcare sector is beneficial but not essential.

You will reflect the key attributes that we look for in all colleagues, which are:

·        Intellectual curiosity: you will have a strong academic record – a relevant degree in life sciences, business or marketing is preferred,and CIM professional qualifications are an advantage

·        Teamwork and collaboration: you will be experienced in collaborating with multifunctional teams locally and internationally

·        Accountability and responsibility: you will manage your own workload and the projects that you and your teams are responsible for
