So,what’s the job?

As a Writer at Ashfield,you will be responsible for developing quality medical and scientific content around cutting edge scientific developments across a diverse range of channels.  This might mean working with a thought leader on a presentation at an international conference or working with our digital colleagues on a disease awareness project for a website.  You will play an important role in our client facing teams delivering high quality projects for our clients.  You will be part of meetings and discussions and be looked to for your scientific expertise!

Who is the ideal candidate?

You must be a highly motivated and driven individual, passionate about science and eager to make science and medicine accessible. You will enjoy the challenges and opportunities of telling these stories through varied communications channels and in diverse educational settings.

You will have a background in life sciences and current writing experience in Healthcare/ Medical Communications. You must be able to understand scientific and clinical information and then use that knowledge to create strategic and compelling content for diverse healthcare professional audiences. Teamwork and collaboration are a must because we expect excellence of ourselves and in our work for clients.

There are opportunities to get involved in reviewing, line management, mentoring if you want to. Our training academy is available to everyone so whether you want to brush up on presentation skills, different types of deliverables or management training to help you develop in your career, there will be a course that you can get involved in!
