Position Summary

The Event Manager’s core responsibility will be managing and executing a variety of events from start to finish to a high standard. They must demonstrate effective communication with the internal team, clients and health care professionals, planning events meticulously to ensure the smooth running of projects.  Accuracy and attention to detail in contracting and financial administration related to projects are vital.

Key Responsibilities

Efficient delivery of events

·       Lead on a variety of projects (advisory boards, standalones, preceptorships, speaker tours etc)

·       Manage supporting project teams as lead EM across multiple accounts and Business Units

·       Main contact with Healthcare Professionals, arranging personalised logistics ensuring an excellent service is provided

·       Main communicator with client for all logistics points

·       Support clients with faculty contracting, relevant documentation and client approvals

·       Prepare running orders, logistics overviews and other necessary on-site documents

·       Managing flight and travel arrangements for internal colleagues, healthcare professionals and external vendors

·       Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet client expectations

·       Able to effectively communicate with project teams and delegate effectively to Events Team

Knowledge and Skills

Experience and Qualifications



·       Good Microsoft Office skills

·       A level equivalent qualifications

·       2 years’ event management experience in a similar role is required

·       Have a good understanding of Pharmaceutical industry’s compliance regulations

·       Experienced with written and spoken communication with Key Opinion Leaders in the Healthcare sector
