Are you passionate about rare disease communications with an enthusiasm for mentoring, training and reviewing the work of others? We have a new opportunity for an accomplished editorial team member to join our specialist agency, Comradis, in a key leadership role.


The role

Comradis is an independent healthcare consultancy that specializes in rare diseases and uncommon cancers. We provide industry-leading insights, compelling communications and commercialization expertise to organizations seeking to improve the treatment options for patients with significant unmet medical needs.

Joining as an editorial team lead, you’ll work across a variety of project types, including meetings, medical education, publications and rare disease consultancy.


Key responsibilities

  • Editorial oversight of a large, rare disease account, reviewing and contributing to content deliverables
  • Managing a team of medical writers, providing training and mentorship
  • Supporting resource allocation and management, as well as contributing to company strategy and business development activities
  • Building positive relationships with clients and clinical experts
  • Offering scientific input and insight to clients and internal account teams


What you’ll need

  • At least 5 years’ medical communications agency experience, ideally with exposure to rare disease accounts
  • A passion for science communication, particularly in the field of rare diseases, and an infectious enthusiasm that inspires your colleagues and clients both locally and remotely
  • The ability to multitask, taking responsibility for your workload, the projects that you are part of and your team
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork with experience in leading and managing multifunctional teams locally and remotely
  • An exceptional eye for detail: you will be passionate about the accuracy of your work
