We are looking for an energetic, driven, enthusiastic individual to join our business development team.  As Business Development Manager, you will be part of the team responsible for growing our business with pharmaceutical companies around the world, across a range of therapy areas and markets.

About The Role:
Your role is to introduce our innovative services and tools to prospective clients at some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies. Day-to-day your work will be varied – new challenges, new services to sell, new clients to sell to.
  • Oversee large pharmaceutical company accounts from a commercial perspective
  • Responsible for client services within accounts and driving growth of revenue and uptake of services, tools and new innovations
  • Proactively generate leads
  • Provide guidance on identification of prospective clients via LinkedIn
  • Manage your interactions and actions via our CRM database
  • Secure regular meetings with your clients (through emails, calls and persistence)
  • Create and present PowerPoint decks to clients to introduce our capabilities
  • Build long-term partnerships with clients
  • Listen to, understand, and interpret client needs, feeding back interesting insights to the team
  • Support the development of high-quality proposals in response to client needs & RFPs
  • Pitching proposals to clients via teleconferences and in-person
  • Occasional travel to Europe and US to meet clients face-to-face
  • High level of input into product innovation, development, and marketing strategies based on your knowledge of the business
  • Close collaboration with UK based teams who will be running and delivering projects
  • Be expert advisor to clients on System Analytic bespoke tools and services
  • Responsible for contractual elements on your accounts (creating SOWs, managing MSAs, etc)

Desirable Criteria
  • Solid understanding of the global healthcare sector and medicine
  • Experience in the healthcare/ pharmaceutical industry – particularly working with medical affairs teams
