Job Details:
CACTUS is currently looking to add a self-motivated, entrepreneurial member to its medical communications team in the US. This is an opportunity to grow your career and make a greater impact on the lives around you.

  • Oversee and be accountable for quality of medical communications deliverables developed by scientific writers in India
  • Detailed reviewing of drafts with a good balance of directive comments and in-line edits
  • Storyboard/outline projects for writers to develop into comprehensive educational slide decks for MSLs, leave-behind literature, etc.
  • Build writing skills and competencies of the assigned writing team and develop reviewing capabilities of senior writers
  • Monitor compliance with content management systems such as Veeva Vault, Zinc, IRMS. etc.
  • Represent the agency organization and act as a conduit between the agency’s onshore and offshore teams
  • Work with the Creative Director to deliver engaging audiovisual content
  • Liaise with the client’s Medical Affairs stakeholders to develop project strategy, scientific narrative, scientific platform, and communications plan
  • Develop KOL engagement plan, including advisory boards meetings, speaker trainings, etc
  • Influence organic growth through client engagement and delivery of high-quality content
  • Contribute to business development by participating in RFPs and pitches
Requirements (Desires skills & experience)
  • At least 4-5 years of core writing experience within a premier global medical communications agencies
  • MD/PhD or any other advanced life science degree
  • Experience in developing/supporting
  • Medical and promotional communication activities
  • MSL and sales force training material
  • Strategic medical communication plans and execution, including digital plan and tactics
  • HCP engagement; educational programs
  • Conference support and competitive intelligence activities
  • Critical thinker
  • Able to travel to the client’s offices in the US or agency offshore locations
