Job Details:
Axiom is seeking an Account Manager with a passion for building client relationships, working in a highly collaborative environment with specialist talent in scientific communications, events, digital platforms and applications, film, exhibitions and print, producing creative healthcare communications and experiences with excellence to impactfully engage and educate internal and external audiences.

You will be joining our UK team, who produce award-winning creative and scientific communications for our EU pharmaceutical clients. Our services include strategic communications planning, creative execution, internal engagement and training programmes, and both HCP and patient engagement/educational programmes.

This particular role will be to manage a diverse range of work on one of our growing clients accounts in the field of allergy. The account currently delivers commercial campaign creative and development, HCP events, educational tools, creative execution at international exhibitions, of which this role is expected to oversee the successful delivery of these projects and ensure strong client relationships are maintained.

This role will be supported and mentored by one of our Account Directors, work in partnership with our Scientific Writing team, and be supported by an Account Executive.

  • Agency ambassador to the client; knowledgeable and confident on what the agency can offer to provide proactive support to the client.
  • Client ambassador within the agency; knowledgeable on client products, market positioning, ways of working and culture to help position and communicate work effectively.
  • Foster excellent creative and scientific execution; driving excellence from brief through to proposal and delivery, highly communicative and encouraging of positive team working to encourage and drive high quality work
  • Operational management; resourcing the right talent and implementing the right processing in the account and the projects as required
  • Project Management; creating, communicating and managing timelines and budgets, effectively engaging and managing client and agency workstreams and ensuring milestones are met
  • Commercial leadership and financial responsibility; to create, manage and negotiate budgets that provide win-win value to the client and the agency, communicating and positioning budget updates proactively and ensuring positive cash-flow through timely invoicing
  • Client Relationship Management; to be able to listen and question effectively, creating personalised and flexible styles of communications to meet clients personality and preferred methods of communication to build strong, trusting and lasting relationships
  • Foster a fun and nurturing team environment; ensuring clarity, providing positive and practical attitude, managing failures with a learning mindset and encouragement, sharing and recognising individual and team successes
  • Mentor; provide time and space for account executives to learn and apply learnings to practical experiences, hints and tips, encouragement and advice

  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare agency experience (currently Snr Account Exec/Account Manager level)
