Job Details:

Our client is currently looking for an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join their team in Healthcare PR team in London. They are an award-winning, integrated healthcare communications agency whose clients include pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, patient advocacy groups and other healthcare providers.

In this role you will be reporting directly to the leadership team and be involved in delivering integrated communications programmes that will ideally combine market access and traditional medical communications activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic integrated communications programmes for assignment accounts
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic communications programmes
  • Liaise and maintain relationships with clients, media, and other stakeholders
  • Draft programme materials, e.g. press releases, medical backgrounders, briefing documents, proposals and more
  • Organise and implement client events
  • Manage client budgets and oversee expense management and budget reporting
  • Contribute to new business development

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Graduate in Life sciences
  • Significant previous healthcare communications agency experience, ideally with a strong focus on medical communications and market access
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the UK healthcare environment
  • Great leadership skills and ability to mentor more junior members of the team
  • Good strategic and creative thinking skills and advanced problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills
  • Strong copy writing skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Highly developed computer literacy
  • Financial and business acumen
